Our client is a leading company in the global agriculture sector, recognised for pioneering new technologies and practices that drive efficiency and sustainability in farming based in Nonthaburi. They are currently seeking for the Assistant Plant Manager (Warehouse and Inventory). This role will oversee daily warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations. Key responsibilities include managing third-party logistics, optimising inventory, ensuring packing material processes, enforcing safety standards, and achieving KPIs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in team management, driving alignment with supply chain objectives and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Plant Manager in managing daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, and maintenance
- Optimise inventory performance by addressing excess, aging, and obsolete stock in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and logistics teams
- Manage 3rd party logistics partners and warehouses to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators
- Align warehouse operations with supply chain objectives, including material availability, rejection handling, and supplier returns in coordination with finance and procurement
- Implement and enforce standard procedures for warehouse operations, maintain security protocols, and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
- Coordinate with plant operations for packing and processing plans, while fostering effective communication across teams for smooth operations
- Track, report, and achieve monthly KPIs as defined by management, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and productivity goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- In-depth understanding of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their application
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with high attention to detail
- Proactive, detail-focused, and skilled in problem-solving with a hands-on approach
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a talent for fostering teamwork and self-motivation
- Proficient in computer applications and effective English communication
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations
