Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR leader to oversee operations in both Bangkok and Rayong. This role will be pivotal in driving the transformation of the Thailand plant and integrating it into the broader regional structure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong international perspective and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, including experience with unionized environments and talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR leader to oversee operations in both Bangkok and Rayong. This role will be pivotal in driving the transformation of the Thailand plant and integrating it into the broader regional structure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong international perspective and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, including experience with unionized environments and talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR function for Thailand, with oversight of both the Bangkok and Rayong offices
- Drive HR transformation and integration of the Thailand site within the broader regional framework
- Act as a business partner to senior leadership, providing strategic HR guidance to support operational and commercial goals
- Manage and develop talent acquisition strategies, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent across the region
- Work closely with the Site HR Manager to improve employee relations and drive continuous team development
- Ensure alignment with regional HR strategies, with a focus on international quality standards and cultural intelligence
- Support organizational growth through acquisitions, ensuring smooth integration of new teams and cultures
- Provide leadership and development opportunities for HR team members to enhance capabilities
- Build strong commercial networks in the region, with regular travel to Bangkok to strengthen relationships
- 4 years of experience in HR, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven track record in talent acquisition and employee relations
- International mindset and ability to manage cross-cultural teams
- Experience working in unionized environments is highly preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to drive change and foster growth
- Strong international exposure and experience in a manufacturing environment
- Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and union negotiations
- Ability to drive change and transformation within an evolving organization
- Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a strategic partner to senior leadership
- High level of cultural intelligence and the ability to adapt to diverse working environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and influencing at all levels
