Our client, a leading provider of bespoke logistical procurement and supply solutions for the manufacturing sector, is seeking an HR Manager to oversee People & Culture and General Affairs. This role is responsible for recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, and employee relations.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape company culture, drive employee engagement, ensure compliance with employment law and corporate policies, and lead strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a strong company culture that attracts top talent and enhances employer branding
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and organisational development
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with employment law, local regulations, ISO standards, and corporate policies
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards within HR and administrative functions, including internal audits
  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programmes in line with market trends and employee needs
  • Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and legal compliance
  • Manage the performance appraisal process and employee relations, ensuring a fair and structured approach.
  • Address employee conduct issues, including disciplinary matters and workplace disputes, while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Develop and implement training programmes aligned with business objectives and ISO requirements
  • Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with department heads to deliver effective learning and development initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and exit processes to ensure a seamless and positive employee experience
  • Manage general administrative functions, including procurement and facilities management, to optimise operational efficiency
  • Utilise HR metrics and ISO audit insights to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making
  • Mentor and develop the People & Culture and General Affairs team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' HR experience in a multinational company, including at least 1 year in a managerial role
  • Professional fluency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience in performance management, employee relations, and change management
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
