Our client is a leading company in the agro-manufacturing industry, known for its pioneering approach to innovation and sustainability. We are looking for a Plant Master Planner with solid experience in production planning and scheduling to join their team and oversee the efficient management of plant operations, materials, and resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage planning for raw materials, packaging materials, and packing schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and meet demand
- Collaborate with both demand and supply teams, plant processing, and quality assurance departments to ensure smooth delivery of products
- Monitor batch utilization and FIFO practices, recommending seed batches for coating and finished goods packing
- Align and synchronize supply chain functions, including inventory, sales/demand, quality, and logistics, to optimize overall efficiency
- Measure plant performance and share results with the team to drive continuous improvement
- Identify and address process and resource constraints, working with the plant manager to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Clearly communicate goals and objectives to the team, fostering transparency and accountability
- Proactively identify risks and collaborate with the team to find solutions, ensuring minimal disruptions
- Support the implementation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) within the plant
- Ensure timely processing of orders and coordinate export activities with the EXIM team
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Processing Plant Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in agro or FMCG industries, with at least 3 years in a multinational company
- Strong background in production planning, scheduling, and using MRP/MPS systems
- Experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of the S&OP process is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
