As a Sales Development Account Specialist, you will manage and grow assigned customer accounts while positioning our solutions as the preferred choice. You’ll act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, coordinate internal and external resources, and proactively support the expansion of our market footprint through value-driven service and relationship management.
Responsibilities
As a Sales Development Account Specialist, you will manage and grow assigned customer accounts while positioning our solutions as the preferred choice. You’ll act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, coordinate internal and external resources, and proactively support the expansion of our market footprint through value-driven service and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries with product information, technical specifications, pricing, and RFQs.
- Drive design-in activities with customer R&D teams to secure product inclusion in the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Build a strong sales pipeline within key accounts, identifying and developing new program opportunities.
- Coordinate and support contract and agreement management with customers.
- Conduct customer visits to understand requirements and strengthen partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Product Management, and Planning to deliver solutions.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and call plans with insights on opportunities and risks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or sales role within the electronics industry.
- Proven ability to manage customer accounts and drive business growth.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Customer-facing experience with a focus on service delivery and commercial success.
- Familiarity with interconnect products is a plus.
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of sales strategies, opportunity tracking, and lead qualification.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
