Technical Procurement Manager

Our client, a global leader in the packaging industry, is looking for a proactive and resourceful Procurement Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of sourcing machinery, machine parts, and raw materials across Asia, making a real impact on the business while driving innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure machinery and parts to enhance production capabilities
• Build strong relationships with top suppliers across Asia for raw materials like films, foils, cardboard, and plastic resin
• Negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and dependable supply chains
• Oversee the qualification process for raw materials to meet quality and compliance standards
• Ensure a seamless supply of materials to keep production running smoothly

Requirements

• Analytical thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a methodical approach
• Solid understanding of machines and manufacturing processes
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field
• At least three years of experience in procurement, focusing on machinery or raw materials
• Fluent in both Thai and English to effectively collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders
